Geocache Description:

The Cache: The entrance road (N 40°10.595', W 074°20.870') floods seasonally wich is why the high terrain rating, but any 4 wheel drive can make it. Once into the field there is a swamp off to the left that i wouldn't recommend going through without something big. The cache is to the right.

The Spot: There is a dirt road off of Siloam road in Jackson that leads to a field where an old house used to be. Beyond that is some decent off roading back in the woods. One day i was driving all around this place in my decently big pickup, driving through the mud puddles and swamps. Then as we were leaving we were turning around in the field where the house used to be. Now keep in mind it is now just a grass field, no chance of getting stuck like there was in the swamp. We fell into a sink hole where the foundation of the house used to be. Needless to say we were pissed. Didn't get stuck in 3 feet deep mud but did get stuck on flat grass. It took us 4 hours to dig ourselves out and even then i just floored it backwards and barely made it out of the hole. Afterwards back home we laughed about it and decided to put a cache there. so long story short, sometimes 4 Wheel Drive May Not Be Enough.
