Geocache Description:


Our family wanted to design and build a Travel Bug and Geo Coin Resort for trading TB/Coin items in the midtown area of Tucson. After geocaching in many states we wanted to provide a safe place to discover and trade TB/Coins. This is a true Travel Bug and Geo Coin Resort. Only Travel Bugs and Geo Coins should be placed inside the Resort. You MUST have the combination to open the Club Geo Resort cache. THE CODE TO THE RESORT IS 208. Please remember to replace the lock when finished.

IF YOU TAKE A TRAVEL BUG OR GEO COIN PLEASE PLACE ONE IN ITS PLACE. THIS IS NOT A REQUIREMENT BUT ONLY A SUGGESTION SO THAT THERE ARE ALWAYS TB/COINS FOR OTHERS TO TRADE OR DISCOVER. We try to update the missions of the TB/Coins per the requests of the travel bug or geo coin owners so please read the mission before taking a TB/Coin to see if you can help it on its mission.

There is a log book inside the left hand door of the resort to sign and date your visit. Please also log the TB/Coins that you took and the TB/Coins that you left in the resort. Only “Found It” logs that are documented in the log book inside the resort will be allowed on the geocaching.com cache page.

I love seeing other people's non-trackable pathtags, coins and calling cards, so inside of the right hand door there is a pouch for pathtags, calling cards and other non-trackable coins. Please feel free to leave your pathtags and etc. in the pouch.

We also want children to be able to enjoy the cache so there is a large cache container below the Resort for trading swag items. Please again follow the geocaching rules of “if you take something please leave something”. This teaches the next generation of cachers the correct rules of the game.

PLEASE feel free to take pictures of you and the Club Geo Resort and paste them on the cache page. There is no secret to finding this cache so any and all pictures of your visit to the cache are welcome.

The cache IS on private property and is only available from 6am to 10 pm daily. Although the cache is not visible from the street it is easily seen from just inside the large double chain link gate near the carport where our cars are parked. Please do not enter other gates or areas of the property as it is not necessary and will disturb the property owners.

We really hope that you enjoy the effort that our family put into designing and building the Club Geo Resort.
