Geocache Description:

This cache is a part of a series of 10 caches that make up a scale model of the Solar System. If the dome of the Westmont Observatory (diameter 5.67 meters) represents the Sun, then Pluto should be in this location and have a diameter of 9 mm. The Westmont College Observatory houses the most powerful telescope between San Francisco and Los Angeles. The observatory is open for public viewings in the evening on the third Friday of every month, weather permitting.

The other caches in this series are more or less to scale, but since a 9mm ball wouldn't make much of a cache, Pluto is an ammo box with a 9mm marble glued inside the lid. When you put it back, take care not to drop it where it can't be reached (or you owe me a new ammo box). You will need shoes and a kayak. Kayaks can be rented at the dock.

Congratulations to Focha for his hard-earned FTF!
