Geocache Description:

This is an easy park and grab in the Putnam Plaza. High muggle area, so please use stealth. You will need to bring you own pen.

While visiting my family in NY and CT, I placed this cache in memory of Mike's Hot Dogs and my mom Rita. Mike's Hot Dog stand was located across the street from my cache in the gravel area. He had the best hot dogs in the 60's and 70's!! My mom worked as a cashier in the old Grand Union grocery store, and would stop by Mike's for a hot dog with "a little bit of sauerkraut and a lot of mustard”!I It was hard work for my mom standing on her feet all day. She had to ring in each item in the cash register! No bar code scanners back then! She came home dog-tired at the end of the day, but always had a smile and hug for her five children.
