Geocache Description:

Set for the Event 'Tea and Walking the Fields' so please do not log until after Sunday 17th July

Victorian Ladies enjoyed their privacy and so, it is told, this is the reason that this double beech hedge was planted.

With this here they could enjoy their stroll hidden from the gaze of the workers in the fields and also possibly feel safer from the witches circle which is also in the adjoining field.

With their parasol up the Ladies and their long dresses they would make a pretty picture and might even have had a picnic organised for the follies at the end of the hedges.
