Saltdean Park is known as Saltdean Oval, obviously because of its shape. It was largely derelict and unused in the 50s but after the roads which crossed the park were diverted in 1961 the park became more popular. It now has an excellent children’s play park, skate park, bowling green and tennis courts, although the pitch and put has gone.

This cache is NOT on the ground. A number of previous cachers have complained about dog walkers leaving plastic bags of dog poo slung into the base of the hedge. You do not need to look there. The cache is about 3ft above ground level. Please replace carefully so it stays that way.
