LavaLizard: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If the cache owner addresses the issues that lead to archival and contacts me within a reasonable period of time (6-8 weeks), it may be possible to unarchive the cache.

Geocache Description:


The Crystal Cove El Moro Campground opened on July 1, 2011, and is on the former location of an old trailer park. The campground is terraced such that all of the campers have a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. The rangers are also very good at keeping the car traffic to a minimum, so that kids can feel safe riding their bikes throughout the park.

The cache is located on an overlook of the ocean from within the edge of the camp. If you are biking north on PCH, there appears to be a trail that will take you straight to the cache. Otherwise, you may pay a fee and park in the beach day use lot and hike up. Also, if you are hiking the canyon, you can easily hike over and grab this cache. As always, beware of muggles and rehide the cache as well as you found it. Also, you can reach this from the trail. Do not at any times leave the trail and go bushwacking.
