The event will be at the Chaffee Road Reginal Library. The event time is 10:30-2:30.

Geocaching 101: 4H: Hiding, HTML, Hosting, and Having Fun


Without a doubt the most requested repeat subject, is hiding a cache. We’re going to do it so you can be at any stage of your cache hide.

Need to make a cache?

We’ll have some supplies and help.

Need to hide a cache? Someone will go with you and actually hide the cache.

Already hid it but want to make sure it gets published? Bring the coords and we’ll have someone to help you with that.

For those who want to learn some basic HTML code, (you know, the stuff that makes the page look good), we’ll be there to share code and how to post pictures as background or on the page.

Have you been wanting to host an event but just been a little nervous about the amount of work and money involved. We’ll show how to do a simple meet and greet, or put on a more complex event, like the Geo-mazing Race. No money to lots of money to spend on the event? we have ideas to make it work for you.

And finally the Having Fun part is completely up to you.
