This cache is similar to my nearby
Elevation cache in some ways. It's hidden along the Barton
Creek Greenbelt, there's no tricky puzzle to solve, and the
physical challenge you'll face as you approach the hiding spot is
somewhat similar.
You definitely won't mistake the two, however. The other one is
on the "nature tamed by man, well-maintained trail leading right to
the front porch, if you get hurt and need assistance a jogger or
biker will be along in a minute or two" side of the creek.
This one is on the wild side. Prepare accordingly.
Once you fight your way to Ground Zero and have the cache
container in your hands (it's a camouflaged Lock-n-Lock), you'll
surely want a photo or two to mark the memorable occasion. If you
have your smartphone or digital camera handy, please take some
photos of yourself and post here.
But I would also like some photos. Although it's not required to
log the cache, I would appreciate you using the enclosed camera to
snap a photo of your GPS unit laying on top of the cache container.
It's an old school camera, so you'll need to peer through the tiny
viewfinder to properly frame the shot. Please take only one frame
per person or team. If you notice that the camera is about used up,
please mention it in your log so I can get it refilled. You'll
surely want the next cacher to enjoy the same experience as
you.
Have fun!
