Geocache Description:


As I was reviewing my Texas counties, I realized that there are only two caches in nearby La Salle County and I know that they have both been destroyed because of construction in the picnic areas south of Cotulla. It is not right to have a Texas county without a cache, so I will place several in La Salle County this year so this never happens again.
Cotulla is the county seat of La Salle County, and is the sight of recent gas and oil exploration. The town is in a growth spurt. It is also where future President Lyndon B. Johnson taught elementary school in the early years.
There should be plenty of easy parking.
