Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Fremont Older Open Space Preserve, which is a great park my father, brother and I discovered one day while driving around. I decided to try the trails out today, and liked the park so much I spent six hours here wandering around and finding geocaches. The park was once home to Fremont Older and his wife Cora, and eventually sold and made into a public park. There are some houses in the park, including some old ones in ruins. The trails here are of varying difficulties. Starting from the parking lot on Prospect Road, the trails leading to the cache are not bad, mostly flat with gentle ups and downs until you're almost there. From this point, the very visible yet off-trail path goes up at a decent angle, one which might not be great for anything with wheels. The cache is a small, white, non-camouflaged ibuprofen bottle, with an official geocaching sticker for identification. It contains a few pages for a log book (I will add more as needed), but you will need your own writing implement. There is a little room for small trade items, such as the wheat penny I have placed in it. Please replace the natural camouflage when replacing the cache. Happy caching!
