Geocache Description:

This is a special cache for two very special people. As they seek the cache I hope they realise who they are! Congratulations on your 40th anniversary.

As this is our home could you please not search after 10:00 at night and there's no need for scorched earth searching, the cache is easily retrievable without tearing at the greenery!

Math puzzle set by Reg and checked by Humnahum

The co-ords are for car parking at the St. John the Baptist Church, no longer in use but a key is available if you want to have a look around it.

As cache has been muggled and replaced you'll find it 12 metres northwest of the coordinates given in the solution. Just follow the line of TaG's least favourite type of hiding place!

There are several caches along the river bank that you can find during your visit to our village.

The Anniversary Cache is a clip lock tub with room for small swaps. I hope you enjoy the quick virtual tour that the puzzle will take you on. Maybe it will stir more memories for more than our happy couple, if it does please leave your stories here in your logs for them to enjoy.

Now to find the final cache co-ordinates you need to do a quick google search for the addresses below taking note of the first two digits of the postcode, add them together and then use them solve Humnahum's equation. We've completed the first one as an example so you're already part way to finding the cache!

A - Ashby Road, Scunthorpe - a quick google search should retrieve the postcode of DN16, the first two digits added together = 7 easy

B - Lakeside Parkway, Scunthorpe

c - Bagmoor Lane, Scunthorpe

D - Newcomen Terrace, Redcar

E - Lowe Lane, Stainborough

F - High Street, Burringham

Final co-ordinates

53 A+B+E+F. C((E+F)(C-D))+(D+F)
000 (AxB)-(C-D).(AxB)x((F-C)+D)-(E+F)

The final cache co-ordinates are not far from the published co-ords. If you're driving there is off road parking and refreshments close to the final cache. But a walk would be much more pleasant.
