The Kooky Koala - Bearii Bound Geocache brings you to one crazy and often changing Koala sign.
Please park well off the road (but don't get bogged!) and take care when exiting your car; definitely leave any Geokiddies and Geobeasts in the car when you grab this one!
The Kooky Koala - Bearii Bound has been for many years one of the indicators that we were near the end of our destination. We knew that when we saw this sign we would be only minutes from Bearii and a cold beer, warm fire and a bit of peace and quiet after a long drive!
The Kooky Koala - Bearii Bound Geocache brings you to one of our favourite road signs; over the years this Koala sign has been, um, 'amended' to show the Koala in a variety of positions. Some of our favourite 'adjustments' to this sign has shown the Koala:
Sitting on the toilet reading a newspaper
Playing the piano
Drinking a VB (a hard earned thirst for a hard working Koala)
Fishing
and at the moment it shows a very crazy eyed Koala smoking a cigarette ..... As you might surmise from the crazy look on its' face, smoking is bad for you!
Anyway, the cache is small, so no room for swaps, although you might fit a small Geocoin in there if you felt that way inclined. Bring your own pen too!
