MeganZA: Due to the ongoing COVID19 pandemic my dad who looked after these geocaches for me had relocated and have not been able to maintain this geocache. Initially we expected that he would be away from Gauteng for a short period of time, but as he is no longer working from his physical office location in Gauteng and there is no short term prospect of the situation changing he is not in a position to restore the cache. We are both now based in the Eastern Cape. This cache brought lots of joy, but this location now needs to be vacated.

Geocache Description:

This is a cache that was placed as part of the Gauteng Power Series (GPS). The Gauteng Power Series (GPS) was created to offer Cachers the opportunity to achieve personal caching goals by using Grand Personal Selection (GPS) to decide how to hunt and find these caches, all in one day, or one by one over a period of time. Remember to Go Physically Safely (GPS) when you Grope, Peek and Search (GPS)!

This cache is part of the Gauteng Power Series and is placed along the Krugersdorp - Pretoria Road R114.

Please make sure that you stop in a safe place, be aware of oncoming traffic and obey all traffic laws while hunting for the GPS caches.


Be on a look out for muggles at all times and place the cache back exactly as you found it.

I know that you may be in a hurry to get to the next cache, but take a moment and a deep breath, then look out over the beautiful grassland now part of the Lion Park. Enjoy the view and see if you can spot any of Africa's great creatures roaming the grassland.
