A few months ago I decided to discover the hidden parks of the Blue Mountains with my 4 year old daughter.
I wanted to find local parks that were toddler friendly, had shade on the hot days in summer and areas to go for special morning tea picnics.
So I got my street directory out, looked up parks with play equipment and went exploring.
Peninsula Park is more the 3+ age group. It has climbing equipment, swings a slide and picnic tables.
The cache it self is located in bushland just off to the side of the park. Just follow the trail and the cache is about 5 metres off the track in a typical hiding spot.
I have made this cache to be child friendly to go along with the theme, so it should be an easy find for those junior geocaches out there.
