The cache is located in Exmoor National Park, overlooking The Valley Of Rocks, Lynton. You can walk to the cache from Lynton which has easy free parking. The cache is about .6 of a mile walk from Lynton. Alternatively you can walk from The Valley Of Rocks (not free parking during summer) or for longer walks use the coast path. This can provide as long a walk as you could possibly wish for.
The views from the cache and from the nearby survey point ( N 51° 13.990 W 003° 50.581) are stunning.
The map contained in the cache can be viewed from the survey point and on clear days will show places of interest on the South Wales coast across The Bristol Channel.
The cache is a large clip and lock box. The Cache contains lot's of goodies and several `unusual` items. As the cache was left on the day before The Euro was introduced we have also left some coins from France, Italy, Spain and Austria.
The cache is VERY near the footpath, so if you think you have been discovered looking for it please feel free to re-locate it and let us know. We can then have fun finding it!!
We know you will enjoy the walk and the views.
Have fun.
