Geocache Description:

A short multi within the quiet churchyard of the old parish church in Eassie. It should take you about 20 minutes to complete.

The above coords lead you to the location of a Pictish stone placed within the walls of the ruined church. Plenty of information about the place and the stone can be found on the related webpage.

As for the cache itself, it is a short distance from the church and on the old dismantled railtrack of the Newtyle and Glamiss Railway that passed through Eassie. You will have to count the number of letters for the following words from the text located on one of the glass walls of the cross slab shelter. The first line of the text reads 'Eassie Cross Slab'.

  • A = ... (second word on line 4)
  • B = ... (ninth word on line 4)
  • C = ... (eighth word on line 2)
  • D = ... (fifth word on line 7)
  • E = e1 - e2
