Denna plats valdes med omsorg för en hembygdsgård och 1943 fann man häruppe intill skogsbrynet, den björkbacke man sökte.
The Old Homesteads main task is to preserve traditions and show us the heritage we received from our ancestors.
This location was chosen with care for a the homestead and 1943 found the birch hill they searched.
Alla hus har kommit till genom gåvor och mycket frivilligt arbete och flyttats till hembygdsgården från olika byar i Segersta. Några av byggnaderna är från 1700-talet, andra från senare hälften av 1800-talet.
Alla hus har en beskrivning av var de varit till och flyttats från.Ta dej tid och gå runt och läs på alla husen. Du kommer få en riktig historielektion.
Each house has come about through donations and much volunteer work and moved to the homestead from different villages in Segersta. Some of the buildings date from the 1700s, others from the latter half of the 1800s. All houses have a description of where they were before and moved from. Take your time and walk around and read about the houses. You will get a real history lesson.
