You take the high road Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wizard of Ooze: As the cache owner has not indicated that they have visited the cache location to replace it if missing, perform needed maintenance, or verify that it is still there within the requested time period, I am regretfully archiving the cache to clear it from the active cache database and open the area to new caching opportunities.

If the cache owner would like to replace a cache at this location, please submit a new geocache listing and it will be reviewed under the current geocaching.com guidelines. Please don’t post a note on your archived listing as it won’t be forwarded to me and I won’t see it. If you need to contact me, please do so by emailing me through the contact link on my geocaching.com profile page or through my website www.wizardofooze.com

Thank you for your contributions to geocaching, and we hope to see you actively geocaching once again in the near future.

Geocache Description:

Nice short side path running parallel to the sidewalk. Park at the Pub and you can do a few all within walking distance. This micro cache is a bit off the main path once you are up in the park.

"You take the high road and I'll take the low road, and I'll get to Scotland before yee!" That is part of a song my Dad would sing when as a child I would take this short detour path running parallel to the sidewalk. He would stay on the sidewalk and I would venture up into the “park”, and join him again at the end about 50 meters down the road. This is a really nice escape while walking along busy Summit Drive and there are a lot of wildflowers and dead gnarly trees to make the walk interesting. Further into the park is a small but fun homemade bmx bike track! Bring your own pen and a garbage bag (CITO) and enjoy this short escape into nature while hunting for our very first hide!
