This is a water access cache in a very quiet, serene bay on Gull Lake.
Lily Bay, as its name implies, has an abundance of beautiful water lilies. When you approach the far end of the bay you will notice a beaver house. Here Gull Lake empties into the Hoc Roc River which finds its way to Lake Muskoka. This cache is dedicated to my first grandchild that was born June 2011. Soon I will be able to introduce her to kayaks and geocaching and take her to this place of serenity to enjoy nature at its fullest. Look for turtles, herons and listen for the beautiful songs of birds. All of this VERY close to downtown Gravenhurst. A jewel of nature in the middle of it all. Please bring your own writing implement and replace the cache as found. Enjoy!
