Lundin Tower is located in the parish of Largo, and was once the seat of the head of the Lundy, Lundie, Lundin family.
Very little now remains of this family seat, as the main manison of Lundin was demolished in 1876 by the then owner Sir John Gilmour of Lundin. What does remain is a stone stair tower, the age of which is quite uncertain. A sketch of the mansion from 1838 shows the stair tower in position in the centre of the old mansion.
The Diary of John Lamont, factor to the Laird of Lundie, describes various alterations made to the Hall House of Lundie around 1660.
What does remain of Lundin Tower has recently been renovated and incorporated into a private residence.
