Geocache Description:

A bridge not on the highway. Long ago taken out of service.

This bridge is only for view pleasure. The bridge is located on private land. Please DO NOT go to the bridge.
This bridge was constructed in 1926. IT has withstood many great floods over the years. There is no water that runs under the bridge, unless we get a good sized storm. This bridge is about 20 feet wide total. Can you imagine the traffic of today trying to get across that bridge at 55. When US 14 was rebuilt they moved the road and left this bridge for the land owner to get from one field to another. Since you can not drive on this bridge I am placing a larger container. This is my favorite bridge and once you see the container ewe will see why!! Be carefull of the barbwire.
