De ce o fi facut Dumnezeu munti printre vai?
Pentru ca sa ai unde, din cand in cand, sa-ti urci inima, mai aproape de el si de imparatia lui.
De vrei sa treci din valea Somesului Rece in valea Ierii n-ai de ales, trebuie sa urci pe Creasta Plopilor.
Aici, mai aproape de cer, asisti la spectacolul norilor, la libertatea mandra a soimilor in vazduhuri, la concertul vântului printre brazi, la joaca imprastiata a stancilor. Te simti mai liber, mai aproape de stramosi, de traditii, de Dumnezeu, de viata rustica si arhaica. Si in timp ce sufletul urca vesel si implinit, îti odihnesti retina aruncand priviri care coboara abrupt spre valea Ierii sau lin spre paclele printre care zaresti cetatea cea mare a Clujului. Si stai in iarba manoasa ascultand povestile si legendele izvoarelor culese de prin negura timpului si de prin cotloane numai de ele stiute pana iti aduci aminte ca timpul nu se odihneste si doar trecator esti prin aceste locuri binecuvantate.
