Geocache Description:

A quarry turned into a park

Cache is located over a shallow flow, an inch or two at most, of water near the waterfall, please take great care crossing.

An easy cache, situated in a quaint park in the Darran Valley, 2 miles outside of Bargoed.

What once used to be a quarry now is a lovely park, with trails surrounding the lake and pathes going off into the woods.

See http://your.caerphilly.gov.uk/countryside/parks/parc-cwm-darran for more information on the park.

A little added bonus is a little waterfall, on the outskirts of the park and the setting of this cache.

Parking is pay and display, £1 for 2 hours.

Enjoy the hunt.
