Geocache Description:

This is a medium-sized clip-lock box with a pen. The cache is not at this location. This is 'Knightwood Leisure Centre' where the junior cachers can come to play once they've found the cache. The cache is hidden in one of the many wonderful woodland areas that we are fortunate to enjoy in this area of Chandlers Ford.

There are local shops, playing fields and public house nearby. The area is popular with joggers, dog walkers, cyclists etc so be careful of muggle activity. This cache has been placed with the kind permission of the Woodland Trust.

To find the cache, you will need to solve the following puzzle:

The game started before the referee had blown his whistle so they had to kick off again. The crowd were becoming frustrated already by the start and restart of play. "I hope we're not going to have problems for the duration of the match", the chap sitting next to me exclaimed. The match continued but suddenly, our centre-forward broke away from their defenders and shot from 20 yards ... "GOAL!" came the cry from the crowd, but our hopes were dashed when we spotted the flag, he'd been offside, so the goal didn't count. Shortly after, the whistle was blown for half-time. No goals so far.

The second half started with the ball being passed about more freely and the number of players that were involved in the move for the first goal of the game was impressive. Problems soon followed again at kick off as we again had to wait for the start and restart of play while a streaker was removed from the pitch. For the rest of the game, we just watched the ball in and out of play as both sides lost possession constantly. In the dying seconds of injury time though, the ball fell to our star striker who buried it in the back of the net to scenes of jubilation from around the ground.

The chap who had been sitting next to me had left a few minutes earlier to avoid the traffic so he missed all the excitement. That's the law of football though I suppose - always stay to the end of the match.
