I decided to hike on a part of New Almaden Trail I've been to only once. I also was curious as to where The New Almaden Trail Bridge cache (GC10TJ7) had been before it was recently archived. I wanted to scout the area close by since it is now available. My cache is not there but just further up the trail.
You are looking for a matchstick container. Not on the ground as the title indicates. No real bushwacking required as it is 2 or 3 steps off trail. The dirt is soft and you have to step up.......so a terrain of 2 stars. A nice hike along a quiet narrow trail. My favorite!
