Hike up the front side of the mountain to the top of the Burfield
Chair. this is not the peak of the mountain, but locals have called
this spot Top of the World for many years.
In the old days, the Burfield Chair was the longest chairlift ride
in Western North America. We remember sitting on the chair for 26
minutes to the top with no cover in cold temperatures and howling
winds. For that reason, the mountain build a warming hut on top of
the hill. Now skiers can get to the top on a series of high-speed
quad lift. There is a wide view from this post, still called "Top
of the World."
Please find this cache discretely and rehide it well.
