Geocache Description:

Dandenong Angels

Baseball is alive and well in Dandenong. The Dandenong Baseball Club was first formed in 1958, and was then known as Methodist Youth Fellowship Baseball Club. In 1970, The MYF Angels amalgamated with the Dandenong Saints and were known as the MYF Saints until 1975 when the name was officially changed to the Dandenong Baseball Club, though everyone still refers to them as The Angels.

The club is current made up of 11 different teams, ranging from Under 12s to Adults. If you are interested in playing baseball, check out the Angels' website: Dandenong Baseball Club.

The cache is a 400 ml Sistema container with room for several swaps. It is located roughly where my son, Ben, recently hit a Grand Slam Home Run. (Well, maybe it was not quite that far, but it was in that general direction.)

I hope you enjoy this cache.
