[RO] La aprox 25 m spre NV de acest loc exista o constructie de pe acoperisul careia se deschide o forte frumoasa panorama, municipiul Cluj-Napoca vazut de sus.

Dupa venirea la putere a regimului comunist (1947) printre bunurile confiscate au fost si terenurile agricole ale micilor fermieri. Pe acest deal s-a plantat o mare livada de meri, peri, caisi si ciresi. Pe vremea copilariei mele aici ne aduceau de la scoala la cules de mere sau veneam cu prietenii la furat de cirese. In prezent, terenul a fost redivizat conform vechilor proprietati si restituit vechilor proprietari sau urmasilor acestora. Acestia, in mare parte, l-au divizat si mai mult si parcelele au fost vandute investitorilor imobiliari. Deocamdata in zona nu se aproba constructii si livada mai traieste si mai poate fi admirata. In varful dealului exista o baliza topografica, dar a fost furata pentru a fi vanduta ca fier vechi. Cutia este amplasata foarte aproape de locul vechii balize.

After the communist regime came to power (1947) among other confiscated assets there were the lands of small farmers. On this hill was planted a large orchard of apple, pear, apricot and cherry. In my childhood we were brought here from the school to pick apples or we came, with friends, in the nights, to steal cherries. Currently, the land was redevided according to old properties and returned to former owners or their descendants. They, mostly, split it more and parcels were sold to real estate investors. Yet, the constructions are not approved in the area and the orchard lives and can be admired. On the top of the hill there was a topographical beacon, but was stolen to be sold as scrap metal. The box is located very close to the beacon old location.
