In Cheesequake State Park, wooded, slightly hilly terrain, must be searched for at night.
Park at intersection of Steamboat Landing Road (Dock Road) and Michelle Avenue, N40 25.681', W74 17.153', although there is a No Trepassing sign ahead of the parking area, it is intended for the dirt road you are facing, do not go down the dirt road, but the park is on the right and may be entered. Trail into woods is in front of and to the right of a No Littering sign. Alternate parking is at the Wawa or in front of the cemetary next to Wawa on Route 34. This must be done at night or you will not find the cache. You need a good flashlight and should wear safety glasses so you don't get your eyes poked by brush in the dark. Bring a compass as a backup. As you near the posted coordinates, scan the woods with your flashlight, the trail to the cache will be marked ( You need to figure out how). Cache is beneath a fallen tree and is a 4" square tupperware container, not much room for anything other than small trinkets. Be sure to hide the cache very well before you leave. Cache is about a half mile walk from any of the parking locations. Area has been burned by a brush fire, so wear some old clothes. Ticks and stickers abound. Go slow and you can avoid most of the stickers. Be sure to mark your starting location before entering woods. If you get lost, proceed on a safety bearing of SOUTHWEST, it will get you to civilization.
