Flipper's Flying Visit to Victoria
Flipper&co in town on funny flying business and want to meet some local cachers, or any cachers, we are just passing through and have to eat for the evening, so thought it would be nice to share a few tales with the locals. We are heading for Seattle for the Groundspeak Block Party.
So let's all get together around 6pm. Coordinates are for Sticky Wicket at the Strathcona Hotel, 919 Douglas Street, Victoria BC. We have made a booking and will confirm numbers once we hit Vancouver, please post a "Will Attend" so that we can confirm the number of seats required.
We will meet to:
• SWAP travel bugs
• EXCHANGE shiny coin-thing shaped things that cannot be named
• RELAY stories about our caching adventures
We are from South Australia, not affiliated with any geocaching group, but South Australia is known to be the Geocaching Capital of Australia. We collect and design Pathtags. We will bring a logbook but if you need anything else you will need to bring it yourself including: your geocoins, pathtags, travel bugs, and stories of dare and wit.
Please help us avoid this from becoming a MINISCULE event. Groundspeak defines this type of event as one when the event host is the only one to show up! We look forward to meeting everyone.
BTW, where are we meeting? - At a place that was highly recomended by a previous event holder.
Permission was gained to shamefully rip off the event info and co-ords - so if they are wrong - it is all their fault.
