Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Harriman State Park. The hiking trails are only open during daylight hours.

The cache is an ammo can (painted black) just off the Hillburn-Torne-Sebago (Orange) trail, down hill from the nearby 'Russian Bear' scenic viewpoint.

WARNING:
Wildlife: These parks are home to all sorts of wildlife. I have run across black bear, snakes, deer, lots of TICKS here (and more).
General: You are responsible for your own safety. Be observant & cautious of all hazards at all times. Trails, rocks, etc can be quite slippery when wet or leaf covered, carry a trail map & cell phone, know how to use your gps, etc.
