Arabia Alliance has been blessed and honored to adopt "Rockdale Swing Bridge" on 10/17/22. Note that the hidden date is 2/19/2001. This is one of the older caches in Georgia that helped get this game we love started. If you have time, take a glance at the logs and photos reflecting the adventures over the years. As an added bonus to finding this oldie, it is being added to our AMNHA series of caches under the South River Stroll series. We like to think of this as a multiple win scenario… you get to visit a scenic area, find an older cache, take part in a fun series and collect a password to help you work towards claiming several AMNHA prizes.
This area has gone through changes since this was hidden. So, we are adding a waypoints to help you navigate the trails. Plan accordingly, bring plenty of water and make sure those batteries for your GPS units and phones are charged. Enjoy the hunt and please feel free to share any photos of your adventure.
If you want to see the bridge first - From the parking lot off East Fairview Rd SW, follow the Rockdale River PATH Trail north towards the South River. Near RC181 (around the power lines) you can turn left on to Ken Miller Loop. This path will take you to the suspension bridge on the edge of the South River. From the bridge travel back to the intersection of Rockdale River PATH Trail and Ken Miller Loop. From there, head south on Rockdale River PATH trail to the GZ.
