Mt. Kaba
Mt. Kaba (Kabasan) is the second highest mountain in the Tsukuba Mountains. This is well known as the place of ascetic practices from ancient days.
It is said that a Japanese classical scholar, Hirata Atsutane, who was active in the Edo period wrote that 48 "Tengu" which means mountain ascetic in Japanese are living in Mt. Kaba. There is a main shrine of Kabasan shrine near the stone triangulation marker of this moutain. Mt. Kaba has become the subject of a mountain worship since ancient times. There are many sacred places and shrines. It is said 737 Gods are enshrined in this mountain.
I think the general trail up to this mountain starts from the Makabe-haiden located in the western foot of Mt. Kaba. There are other trails such as from Iwase Sta. to Mt. Tsukuba which takes about 1 day.
Because Mt. Kaba is sacred place, I hesitated to place an actual cache on the top of the mountain. Therefore, I set this as unknown cache.
Step 1:
The above coordinates indicate the top of Mt. Kaba. Please investigate the altitude of this mountain. It is abc m. You may find the three digit number written in a small plate at this point.

加波山
加波山は、筑波連山の中では877mの筑波山に次いで二番目に標高が高い山です。修験道の山として知られています。江戸後期の国学者平田篤胤は、岩間山（現：愛宕山）に十三天狗、筑波山に三十六天狗、加波山に四十八天狗がいると記しているそうです。三角点のある山頂には加波山神社本宮の本殿が鎮座しています。加波山は、古来より山岳信仰の対象となっており、霊場である山中には社や祠が数多く点在し、737の神々が祀られているそうです。
登山は西側の加波山神社の真壁拝殿から登るのが一般的ではないかと思います。また、JR岩瀬駅よりスタートし、御嶽山、雨引山、燕山、加波山、丸山、足尾山、きのこ山、そして筑波山の順に筑波連山を縦走する登山者もいますが、一日がかりになるのではと思います。
加波山は霊場ですので山頂にキャッシュを置くのは控えさせていただきます。そこで、アンノウンキャッシュとすることにしました。

表示されている座標の場所は三角点のある山頂です。この山の標高を調べてください。標高はabc mです。もしかするとここでプレートに記された三桁の数字 abc を見つけることができるかもしれません。
