Twin Views Traditional Cache

This cache is a quick and easy grab on the Outeniqua pass.
Take the turnoff at the given coordinates and follow the road to the broadcasting tower.
Please be careful when turning off / rejoining the pass as the road is very busy.
For safety I would suggest taking the turnoff while traveling in a southern direction.
If you are headed from George towards Oudtshoorn (northern direction), there is a safe place to turn around about a km or two down the road.
Park at the parking spot and enjoy the views to both sides.
To the south, you will have a great view towards George.
turn around and you'll see the Hobbs farms.
Follow the sign to the " pass to pass" hiking trail and let your gps guide you from there.
At the cache location you will have a equally spectacular view of the hops farms to the north.
If you have more time, and feel energetic, the 7.3-kilometre Pass-to-Pass hiking trail can also be done, it will take you through fynbos and riverine bush as you cross gurgling mountain streams. There is also another cache ( Eagles view of Montagu pass - GCRZAR) hidden at the end of this trail. This hike is not recommended if the weather has been wet as it is steep and gets very slippery.
