Geocache Description:


This is one of a set of 4 caches – not a series, a set. Solve one and you’ve solved them all.

There is no cache at the given co-ordinates so don’t even try to get there! They are all within 4 miles though.

I want to tell you about four of my geocaching friends.

Dr Baker (88) uses the slightly paranoid identity DNF Disaster (1.5).

Hilary (0.5) Vickers (31) is not the cacher known as GeoGiant (8.4) who is particularly fond of Unknown caches (25), especially mine!!

Will (2.6) used to spend his weekends letterboxing on Dartmoor and now loves to collect the stamps from Hybrid caches (51).

Arthur’s (1.6) surname isn’t Taylor (13).

Steve (3.4), being a bit eccentric, uses the identity CrazyCacher (6.9) but can’t abide Multi-caches (45).

Somebody’s surname is Edwards (03), somebody calls themselves Finder Fiend (7.3) and somebody loves Traditional caches (36). They may or may not be the same people.

The four caches can be found at N51 0(First name)(Surname) W 2 5(Caching identity)(Preferred cache type), one for each friend. The numbers to substitute in are those in brackets after the respective information. If you’re thinking of using ‘trial and error’, I should warn you that there are 256 different combinations to choose from!

Of course you won’t know which of the four caches is this one until you’ve found it – then you’ll know because they’re all different sizes.

FTF prizes range from nothing in the nano through to an unactivated FTF geotag (Well done sdg2g08). Happy hunting!
