While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

Langs Frøylandsvatnet er det opparbeidet flott turveg fra Orstad til Sandtangen i Time. Området langs vannet har en frodig vegetasjon og rikt fugleliv. For fiskemuligheter, se informasjonstavler i Sandtangen, Njåskogen og på Kverneland.

There is a great trail along Frøylandsvatnet from Orstad to Sandtangen in Time. The area along the water has a lush vegetation and rich bird life. For fishing, see the information boards in Sandtangen, Njåskogen and at Kverneland.

I forbindelse med en pilgrimsvandring fra Frøyland og Orstad kirke til Butangen 8/11-09, ble en minnestein avduket ved Engelsvågen. På en plate fortelles det om “husmennene ved vatnet” som bodde her fra 1850-1910/1915.

Parkeringsplass i enden av Engelsvåg, med plass til noen få biler. For en litt lengre gåtur anbefales det å parkere ved BMX-banen på Orstad eller ved Gunnarsberget på Klepp stasjon.
Cachen inneholder kun logg, så husk å ta med egen blyant!
FTF-sertifikat ligger under båten (den som er mest skitten), like i nærheten av cachen.

In connection with a pilgrimage from Frøyland and Orstad church to Butangen 8/11-09, a memorial stone was unveiled at Engelsvågen. A plate tells the story of "crofters at the lake," who lived here from 1850-1910/1915.

You can park at the end of Engelsvåg, with room for a few cars. For a slightly longer walk, it is recommended to park at the BMX track at Orstad or at Gunnarsberget on Klepp stasjon.
The cache contains only a log, so remember to bring your own pencil!
