Geocache Description:

Welcome to Santa Cruz in the Galapagos UPDATED COORDS: S 00° 44.937 W 090° 19.316

This cache is near Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos archipelago. Santa Cruz is a hub, so if you visit Galapagos, you’re likely to visit Ayora. My son and I did a trip here and it was fabulous! The Finch Bay Hotel staff and facilities were great.

The original cache went missing almost immediately, but I've had help from fellow cachers picking up the slack. TheLucocks placed a new cache for me and get FTF -- thanks for the ingenious work. The assist goes to JMataity for sending GPS coordinates for the new cache -- thanks guys! ** UPDATE ** :: Unfortunately this cache went missing as well, but with the help of yet another GC-brother (Carsti) have been rescued again.

The new cache is on the Tortuga Bay Boardwalk -- you won't need to leave the paved path (which is prohibited), but the coordinates should help you immensely.

12-3-2013 update: Many thanks to Le Chalet for replacing the cache! Long live Le Chalet!!!
