suz55tbird: Now that a few weeks have gone by, and ZROZRO7 has logged his attendance, I believe all have chimed in, and it's time to put another great event to rest.
I'm so glad that dear friends from far and wide attended again; you have my heart.
Thanks so much to the cache hiders, and to UTurn, for unflagging support.
Surprises for me: 1. How much interest there was in the Power Trail, 2. That Kolkata didn't show up!

Geocache Description:

Yep, get ready for the seventh annual iteration of the Valencia Fun Day!

We'll meet up at the lovely park in Bosque Farms once again at 10 a.m. for the launch, and have a wrap-up potluck BBQ starting at 4:00 p.m. Get there before 10:00 if you'd like to socialize.

NEW INFORMATION!!!
As some of you may have ascertained, there is a Power Trail to be released for the Valencia Fun Day...

After much soul searching, I've decided to have the Power Trail caches available via GSAK the morning of the event. Thoehn, cyclegreen, wer2wys4u and suz55tbird will have computers at the meetup place to load the Power Trail caches ONLY from 9:15 to 9:45-ish for attendees who are interested in doing this.(And, if anyone else would like to get there early to help, you are most welcomed.)

So, please show up by 9:15, IF
1. You can connect your GPSr to a computer with a cable, and
2. You can load a GPX file via GSAK, and
3. You have the desire to find 156 caches 528' apart for no other reason but to rack up the numbers, and
4. You are willing to team up with other Power Trail-ers so that we don't cause a traffic scene in rural Valencia County, and
5. You pledge to wait until the official launch of the event to start caching, then
6. Bring your GPSr cables with you and show up before 9:45!

The remainder of the caches as well as the Power Trail caches will be available as usual on paper at the launch at 10:00-ish.

There are 184 caches hidden for this event, thanks to thoehn, MLMartinez, RioNaiad, cyclegreen, Anne Bonney, and others. 156 caches for the Power Trail, and 28 others.

We'll have a cookout after we gather back at the park at 4:00, probably eat around 5:00. UTurn will provide the hamburgers and hot dogs, and hopefully attendees will provide the rest. Looks as tho' we have about 60-65 attendees for the cookout.
