Geocache Description:

Legend has it that many years ago, an unknown drifter arrived in Lone Oak, TX. He soon found that he was sick and would not live much longer. Not wanting to be laid in an unmarked grave, he sat out to make his own grave marker. He decided to use the wood from the Bois-d-arc tree. Bois-d-arc is known as the hardest wood in this part of the country and most farmers and ranchers used it as fence posts. Sadly, not long after completing his grave marker, he passed away. This cache is located a short walk from the Lone Oak Drifter. It is a small camo container with room for a log & a few trinkets. BYOP Hope you enjoy.
