Geocache Description:

Second in a series of caches near the shore of Osgood Pond and the Osgood River in the Town of Brighton.

This cache will bring you to the "enigmatic shoreline" of Osgood Pond, where a series of parallel ridges mark the position of a number of ancient pond shorelines. Though I intend this series to be accessed using a canoe or kayak, this one can be done as a relatively easy 0.1 mile bushwhack from White Pine Road. If you come that way, the terrain rating is a 3. If you use a boat, you can claim a 5. FTF prize is one U.S. dollar, but keep your eyes open; as I was placing this cache two 4-legged "bucks" waded out into the pond for a drink!
