We placed this cache to celebrate our 300th find, to say thanks to all the geocachers who have made our weekends so much fun and have showed us so many places we would have never found without looking for a geocache there.
Our first hide is located at a public footpath through the Bridgetown Woodland and Meadowlands south of Stratford-upon-Avon town centre. The area consists of large open fields, sparse hedgerows and a few mature trees and ponds that provide the important ecological and landscape features on an otherwise flat and open landscape.
Update: June 2012. Within weeks builders have managed to cover a huge part of this lovely area with concrete and they are getting closer to the cache almost daily. We will leave the cache there as long as possible but be aware that there are not only the occasional dogwalkers but plenty of other muggles around at the moment and probably in the future with the village hall and the new supermarket being built across the street.

Watch the little geokids, there is a brook VERY close by.
