This cache was hidden as part of the Cache to Eagle Project which highlights Service Projects that Scouts have completed as part of their path to the Highest Rank in Scouting. A Scout wishing to attain the Rank of Eagle must plan, develop, and give leadership to others in a service project helpful to a religious institution, school, or his community. The project idea must be approved by the Scoutmaster, Troop Committee and by the Council/District before he can start.
This cache is one of the 12 caches to be hidden within the Timucua District of the Gulf Ridge Council. The Timucua District is comprised of Scout Troops from Eastern Hillsborough County.
Each cache in this series is dedicated to one of the 12 points of the Scout Law.
Tyler Nadwarski worked with the Plant City YMCA on his eagle project. To help the YMCA’s ongoing capital improvement campaign to benefit their after school program, Tyler built a brick bar-b-queue and picnic tables that will be included in the new YMCA playground area.
Please make sure to take note of the Scout Law description inside each cache in the series to complete the Scout Law so you can claim your Cache to Eagle patch.
