[EN] Valcean Village Museum is an ethnographic museum outdoor built on an area of 8 hectares, opened in 1974 in the village Bujoreni, Valcea. Founded in 1969 and opened to the public in 1974, the museum is located on the border city of Ramnicu Valcea. An area of 8 hectares, the village museum (which includes about 80 buildings of architectural and around 12.000 museum pieces) reconstitute a functional image of traditional rural settlements, with all its social and cultural institutions. [RO] Muzeul Satului Valcean este un muzeu etnografic in aer liber construit pe o suprafata de 8 hectare, deschis în anul 1974 in comuna Bujoreni, Valcea. Infiintat în 1969 si deschis publicului in 1974, muzeul se afla la granita municipiului Ramnicu Valcea. Pe o suprafata de 8 hectare, satul-muzeu (care cuprinde aproape 80 de constructii arhitecturale si in jur de 12.000 de piese muzeistice) reconstituie imaginea functionala a unei asezari rurale traditionale, cu toate institutiile sale social-culturale.
