Geocache Description:

Placed in entrance way to a national nature reserve. Parking nearby, level, rough paths to first co-ordinates. Cache retrieval may require some dexterity. Co ordinates are not for the Cache position you have to go there and work it out!

Welcome to North Meadow, a nationally important nature reserve managed by Natural England. The meadow was a water meadow, flooded seasonally to promote the early growth of grass on which to feed cattle. Information on North Meadow can be found at (visit link) and (visit link)

"Cache placed with the kind permission of Natural England"
These co-ordinates take you to the information boards in the entrance way to North Meadow. You'll need to find the information on the silent defenders of North Meadow, now standing at ease.

This is the second cache laid by CSG2011, and was constructed by the Scouts. The contents originally included -
- tape measure
- padlock & keys
- Bug
- Flashing collar
- Notepad
- Clappy hands
- and Log book & pencil.

Take a moment to wander around the meadow, before exploring Cricklade and discovering it's other geocaches.
