Ben's Bin Traditional Cache

MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Ben's Bin to find out about the status of this cache on May 4 2009. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page places it through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

An easy walk along well established trails until almost the end, then a bit of bushwacking.

This cache is hidden off of well-established trails (at least from the main entrance) that are popular with dog walkers, families and exercise walkers. Feel free to bring your dog, but keep in mind the bushwacking aspect. There's a playground with a water fountain for the kids at the entrance to the walking trails (but please keep the dog off the playground). The last several yards will require some bushwacking.

Be prepared for some mud after rainy weather. You might be able to find it after a little snow, I'm not sure.

It's a Rubbermaid container with a white lid that says Ben's Bin on it. The original contents are:

  • notebook with pencil, sharpener, and 4-color pen (please don't take these!). Please leave us a note!
  • a child's book
  • a flashlight (new and working when we left it)
  • 2 screwdrivers
  • 2-pack of toy cars
  • animated Sinbad video
  • micro-puzzle

    All items are new. A good one for kids! This is an easy and enjoyable walk. Have fun!
