To get to this Cache You have to Bushwack beside Wantastiquet Mountain Falls , No Trail , No Switchbacks !!!! . The Hike is Steep , There are Loose Rocks and it can be slippery at times.Be Very Careful , Take Your Time
it can be Dangerous.I have even Hiked It in the Winter and the Falls were Frozen , a Beautiful Display of Nature's Art Work. With its heavy snow runoff, spring is the most impressive season to Hike It
Wantastiquet Mountain is 1335 feet high and in Wantastiquet Mountain State Forest (520 Acres).
Parking: Small lot at gated end of Mountain Road ; From I-91 exit 2 in Brattleboro VT, go E on VT Route 9 into Brattleboro 1.1 miles and turn R on US Route 5/Main St. After only .1 miles, turn L on VT Route 119/Bridge St. and follow it .4 miles across the Connecticut River into New Hampshire. Turn L on Mountain Road and follow it .2 miles to parking lot at gate.
