Paradise Geo-Fest! Event Cache

Hey everyone! Octoberfest is approaching in many areas of the world - a time for celebration!

Since the real Octoberfest is not appropriate for the whole family, we decided to celebrate the harvest in a more family-friendly way. We are hosting a Geo-Fest in the town of Paradise. Come on out and celebrate the season of the harvest and take in another event before the bitter cold of winter is upon us.

Besides the comraderie of getting together with fellow geocachers, this event will include small treats, refreshments, cool prizes, and over 25 caches, ripe for the harvest.

We hope that you can attend this event as the caches hidden will range from quick park and grabs to some that will challenge your geocaching skills. Nonetheless, it certainly promises to be a fun time for all.

The event will commence at 9AM sharp, where you will retrieve your list of caches. Once you retrieve your lists, you will be free to start the harvest. At approximately 3:00PM, all cachers will head back to the start for comraderie, refreshments and prizes. You are free to drop back earlier than 3:00PM for comraderie and refreshments but the prizes won't be drawn until then.

While we will certainly be able to take care of everything for the event, donations for some prizes will be greatly appreciated. Please email us directly if you wish to donate something.

One other thing. One of the caches will require a CHIRP-enabled GPSr or a smart phone app called a QR barcode scanner, such as ScanLife.
