Use stealth when searching for this cache as it is a high traffic area. In fact, a bum was sleeping 10 feet away when I placed it!
This area of e12th St. recently underwent a huge renovation of the street and sidewalk area. Part of the renovation includes many unique flower beds and benches. Some of the beds have vegetable plants that anyone is free to take the produces of, and there is even a mini putting green further down the road a bit.
Metered parking is available within 100 feet. No need to disturb any of the plantings here.
