Geocache Description:

This is a quick one. Once you find the spot, park and fine the medium lock and lock, with some trading items. There's a Small FTF Find prize in the cache task it and place a cache of your own.

This one's along the Trans Labrador Highway, near the Town of Port Hope Simpson. Quiet little place.

This cache started out with:
a Skeleton Hand
Small Flash Light
1 Silly toy
a Name Tag
Log Book and a Pencil.

Port Hope Simpson sits next to the Alexis River. It was founded in 1934 as a Logging Town and quickly became the largest town on the south coast of Labrador. Currently the logging industry had all but died out, but PHS promises to become the southern Gateway to the interior of Labrador. It's the Last stop for gas and supplies until you hit Goose Bay in Central Labrador.

The area is also a hotbed for exploration in the mining industry with prospecting companies drilling for Rare Earth Minerals all over the region.
